A Letter from our executive director

I imagine 2025 will be remembered to many as a time full of change, uncertainty, and adaptation. It certainly has been so for us at The Jacob Center. Like so many others in our community and across the country we have seen dramatic changes in our funding streams on an organizational level which has created the need to adapt quickly and nimbly. This need has led to innovation, creativity, and lots of dynamic team work.

Although we experienced significant challenges, we haven’t been alone and what we have seen from those we serve, our staff, and our community has been humbling and inspiring. I continue to see the beautiful benefits of connection and relationships everyday which stoke the flames of hope and determination. Witnessing these moments has been the antidote to despair and reminds me of the power of community and belonging.

We continue to work together to honor and support the unique journey and voices of the most vulnerable, and remain dedicated to our group of helpers who show up authentically to be a relational safe space for our community members (and each other).

Thank you to all of those who continue to support us and the beautiful work being done. Our clients, teammates, families, friends, supporters, and our fellow community partners in this work are foundational to us. We are here, we are committed, and we are filled with hope.

Hoping for harmony and balance for every one of you,

Erin Zeiner

“The emotional calm and grounding that is created when you know that someone’s in your court and they know what is going on… and that they will drop everything to come and help you in the moment that is the most out of control, the most emotional, the most painful part of your week. Not only does [The Jacob Center] support our child through that, but they support us.”

Looking Ahead

As we look toward 2025, and over 30 years of serving the Northern Colorado Community, we look toward a year of new growth and healing.

We are looking to expand our prevention service work and to continue to partner with community organizations and school districts to support youth in all life settings.

We look forward to you joining us on our journey!
